NEW SPONSOR….Ambitek, leading provider of technical recruitment service…..

Parkwyddn JFC would like to give a massive thank you and express our huge appreciation to Ambitek, technical recruitment service specialists. They have agreed to sponsor our U9 Predators team away kit for the 2019 / 2020 and 2020 / 2021 seasons….

Ambitek are also a major sponsor of Irlam FC, So much so, that Irlam’s home ground is named, “The Ambitek Stadium”….

To have a sponsor with such good credibility and heavy involvement in local football is a great coup for Parkwyddn JFC. This matches Parkwyddns ambition with the new club house and extends the vision of where we see our great club going….

About Ambitek…..

Ambitek specialises in providing permanent and contract recruitment solutions to the UK Manufacturing Engineering Industry. We are “down to earth” recruitment professionals who approach every task with passion, honesty and 110% effort.

We have strong knowledge of the UK Manufacturing Engineering market, allowing us to source the best people for the best jobs in the best companies.

We have a successful track record of placing candidates who have skills and experience working within a range of disciplines such as Assembly & Maintenance, Design & Drawing Office, Foundry & Metallurgy, Machining & Tooling, Quality & Inspection, Welding & Fabrication, Site Based Engineering, Skilled Trades, Professional & White Collar Engineering, Production & Logistics and Controls & Instrumentation.

Above all, our team is committed to delivering our Core Values. We truly understand the value of building positive long-term relationships with candidates and clients alike, as without you we wouldn’t be great at what we do.

Our vision is simple, we want to be the Recruiter of Choice for the UK Manufacturing Engineering Industry.

Ambitek has always been ambitious and is a true underdog in every sense of the word. Launched in 2010 during the midst of the devastating global recession, we started trading from extremely humble beginnings – simply put, a small living room situated in Salford, Greater Manchester.

Within months we had to add the kitchen to our office space due to hiring additional members of staff! To this day we still laugh at how we were climbing over each other to answer phones, accessing printers and how we had to take work breaks to play with our kids in the back yard once they’d get back from school. Working within the kitchen we did have the obvious benefit of being sat next to the kettle, so I’m sure you can imagine there was no shortage of brews!

Fast forward to July 2011, against all odds and against a tough economy, Ambitek was doing well! We decided the time was right to acquire our own offices. We searched far and wide but finally decided on Eccles Town Centre, Salford. The premises were centrally located, offering 3 storeys of office space, excellent transport links and access to much needed parking facilities. In September 2011 we acquired the building outright, in doing so, we future proofed the business enabling us to hire future like-minded consultants who could grow our services even further.

Our next milestone was the 31st March 2013, through hard work, dedication and commitment we had hit £1 million sales turnover. Within 3 years of trading we had gone from £0 to £1 million, from a home kitchen to a 3 storey office, from 1 staff to 6 staff, from 1 contractor to 50 contractors.

We currently employ 20 full time staff who all play an active role in day to day business development and operations. After successfully launching our Merseyside branch, located in St. Helens, in 2015 we have now increased our regional presence further by opening 3 new offices in 2017 covering Birmingham, Nottingham and Leeds giving us comprehensive coverage of the Midlands, the North West and West Yorkshire.

As part of our continuous improvement we have undergone rigorous audits against our processes and systems and are proud to say we are a Corporate Member of the REC, RISQS Audit Approved, GLA Licence Holder and ISO 9001 Certified.

Thanks to our hard working candidates, loyal customers and devoted staff we continue to grow our brand and business and look forward to continuing our development without any compromises to our core company values.

We have a truly wonderful business that has touched the lives of many people whether this be candidates, clients or colleagues. We hope going forward you allow us to share our strong family values and wealth of recruitment expertise with you.

Again, Thank You Ambitek…..

Parkwyddn Predators U11’s Reach the Final…

Parkwyddn Predators U11’s Reach the Final…

A massive well done to Parkwyddn Predators U11’s who have again reached the Salford Finals. They have reached the Salford Finals at Manchester United’s Ayrshire Road every year since they formed. With 5 of the team still playing from our original soccer school and some new additions they have done it again and we will be returning once again this season. These are truly one talented bunch of individuals that play football the right way with the right attitude.

BREAKING NEWS: Parkwyddn Awarded Sole Lease of our Club House….

BREAKING NEWS: Parkwyddn Awarded Sole Lease of our Club House….

Parkwyddn JFC committee members attended the latest meeting with council representatives this evening and the news is fantastic. After months of negotiations and discussions with the council and the bowlers who currently use the facilities, we have now been awarded sole rights to the lease. We have also been given the go ahead to use the bowing green directly in front of the club house (can be seen in the main post image) as a small football pitch for the younger teams. So, what does this mean? Originally the building was occupied by both mens and ladies bowling teams. With our club growing from strength to strength as it is we have pushed for the need to have better facilities. The “Club House” as it stands was being used a lot less in recent times so we put forward a case for us to share it with the bowlers. Since discussions began the ladies team have since left leaving only the mens team. During this evenings meeting, Michael representing the bowling club has offered to vacate the main building and move into a smaller facility on the site which is adequate for them. This now means they will have a lease of their own and Parkwyddn will be sole lease holders of the main building, what is now our “clubhouse”. What happens next? The council are currently drafting the heads of terms and the lease and will present this to us for signing as soon as its ready. Some key points are:

We have a possible cash injection from the council to help us get started asap with any urgent work required to enable us to open up.
We are aiming for a 5 year lease to start.
The council will maintain the exterior of the clubhouse.
Parkwyddn will be responsible for the interior of the building.
Parkwyddn will be responsible for paying all utility bills, water, gas, elec, TV etc.
Parkwyddn will need to arrange buildings insurance.
The bowling green grass will slowly be transformed into a more suitable playing surface as opposed to a bowling green.
We will now be able to offer food and drink. Coffee, Tea, Bacon Barms, Hot Dogs etc all from our own kitchen.
Toilet facilities will be available for use by Parkwyddn members, their families and the away teams.
Permission to hold small functions.
New Parkwyddn Signage to be erected on the front of the building.
Other possibilities to follow soon….
This is a major coup in Parkwyddns long history. This will enable the kids, the parents and all club members to have access to the facilities they deserve. Exciting times…. We would like to offer a special thanks to both Councillor Mullen and Councillor Barnes for all there help steering this from behind the scenes. A massive thank you also to the council and their representatives for working closely with us and the bowling team to help find a resolution which suits all parties.
