Code of Conduct - Young Players

It is important everyone behaves themselves when playing football. We all have a responsibility to promote high standards of behavior in the game

As a player, you have a big part to play. That's why Parkwyddn JFC, The FA and League requests every player to follow a Respect Code of Conduct: Young Players

When playing football, I will:
• Always do my best, even if we're losing or the other team is stronger
• Play fairly - I won't cheat, complain or waste time
• Respect my team-mates, the other team, the referee, or my coach / manager
• Play by the rules, as directed by the referee
• Shake hands with the other team and referee at the end of the game
• Listen and respond to what my coach/team manager tells me
• Talk to someone I trust or the Club Welfare Officer if I’m unhappy about anything at my club.

I understand that if I do not follow the code,(in breach of) any/all of the following actions (below) may be taken by my club, County FA or The FA. This may affect my registration with the Parkwyddn JFC and that my registration can be cancelled at any time and without prior notice being given. I understand that suspension of my registration maybe permanent. Reinstatement of registration will only be permitted by approval of the Club Committee.

I may:
Be required to apologise to my team-mates, the other team, referee or team manager
Receive a formal warning from the coach or Club Committee
Be dropped or substituted
Be suspended from training
Be required to leave the club

In addition:
My Cub, County FA or The FA may make my parent or carer aware of any infringements of the Code of Conduct
The FA/County FA could impose a fine and suspension against my club

Code of Conduct - Parents / Carers / Supporters

The following Code of Conduct, which conforms to FA standard and that of the Respect Programme, will apply to any Parent or Spectator in attendance at League organised football matches, and training sessions at all times. We all have a responsibility to promote high standards of behavior in the game. This club is supporting the The FA’s Respect programme to ensure football can be played in a safe, positive environment. Play your part and observe the FA’s Respect Programme for Spectator’s and Parents.

A Parent’s/Carer’s/Spectator’s expectations and attitudes have a significant bearing on a child’s attitude towards:
Other players, Officials, Managers, Spectators

Parkwyddn JFC will ensure that parents/carers/spectators are always positive and encouraging towards all children - not just their own and will encourage parents/carers/spectators to:

•Remember that children play for FUN
•Applaud effort and good play as well as success
•Always Respect the match officials’ decision
•Remain outside the field of play and within the Designated Spectators Area (where (provided)
•Let the coach do their job and not confuse the players by telling them what to do
•Not to shout and scream, demonstrate appropriate social behaviors
•Encourage players to respect the opposition, referee, and match officials
•Avoid criticising a player for making a mistake, mistakes are part of learning
•Give attention to each of the children involved in football not just the most talented
•Respect the rights, dignity and worth of every person regardless of age, gender, disability, sexual orientation, marital status, ability, religion or belief, nationality, ethnic origin or colour.
•Never engage in, or tolerate offensive, insulting or abusive language or behavior.
•Understand that by signing this form and not following the Code, (being in breach of), any/all of the following actions below may be taken by the club, County FA, league or FA, it may also affect the Registration of my Child to Parkwyddn JFC whereby Registration may be cancelled at any time without prior notice being given and maybe considered as permanent.
