Parkwyddn JFC would like to express our sincere gratitude for all the kind words and donations made to the club over the last 24 hours. The Just Giving page was set up last night in response to the pitches being damaged and the response has been huge, far beyond our expectations. As a club we are touched by everyone’s time, effort, support and financial contributions to our cause. We will ensure we keep everyone updated with how the money raising is going and ensure full transparency when we are able to carry out the repairs to the pitches. Should we reach our goal and if any monies remain, we will put this towards our club house pitches which are being prepared for our younger generation of players just starting out. As you may or may not be aware we have some small details to finalise at which point we will have the club house (old bowling facility) available to use. The old bowling greens will become smaller pitches for the young ones, these are fenced in and as secure as we can possibly make them. The greens are in need of renovation to switch from bowling greens to football pitches. As we say, we will keep you fully informed of progress.

Our supporters have currently raised a superb…

£600 (20% of our Goal)

A massive thank you to all who have donated so far….

Danny Simpson (Premiership Champion with Leicester, former Parkwyddn JFC Player)
For those who do not know, Danny Simpson started his footballing days with Parkwyddn JFC so has a very good relationship with the club. He has never forgotten his roots, whenever we have contacted him he has always replied, a true gent, we are proud to say he started with us and made it to premier league champion status. He has seen the ipitch issue we have had and was straight in there to contribute.
